Why Rent Chair Covers
Chair covers can be used to transfor a vebue by neutralising the colour scheme of the chairs and in many cases disguising worn and ageing chairs in an otherwise decent venue setting. Chair covers are a drammatic design statement in their own right that create a stunning setting which is why they have become an essential item for weddings and other events.
If you are organising a 'one-off' event such as a wedding reception you will clearly not want to buy chair covers for once off use so your best option is to rent chair covers.
Chair Cover King has a website at chaircoverscheap.com. There you will find the best pricing available.

Chair Cover Shapes
No two chairs are alike. It is a common misconception to think that all banqueting chairs are alike. In practice there are many manufacturers and many styles and sizes of chairs. This presents a challenge when it comes to renting chair covers.
It is essential that you try on the chair cover before you commit to rent it for your event. Most reputable rental companies will charge you a refundable small deposit to get a single chair cover or two or three chair covers for fitting purposes. Sometimes the company that you are hiring or buying the chair covers from will know the particular chair you are trying to fit and will have a chair cover from their standard range that they know will fit it. They may even have a chair cover that will specifically fit your chair. In this case the best thing is to email the company a picture of your chair cover and if poissible the manufacture's name and the model number of the chair. Your venue should be able to assist with this information. This will help with getting the right sample sent to you but it is still vital to get that sample rather than wait until the night before the event to discover that your chair cover doesn't fit.
Key Chair Cover Shape Elements Affecting Fit
The main elements of a chair that affect the fit of a chair cover (apart of course from the size) are the shape of the back and the shape of the chair seat. Chair backs are usually eiher generally square /rectangular with top corners that are right-angled or sometimes rounded. The chairs below show a round back chair on the laft that would take a round back chair cover while the square back chair on the right with rounded top corners would take a square back style chair cover.
Chair Covers are part of the wedding planning process that usually goes unnoticed and unaccounted for, unfortunate because a reception that has a set of chair covers is usually one of the most cost effective way of turning a reception from average to extravagant.

Do your research, there are competitive prices on the market today for chair covers. Also, do not worry if the cost seems a little higher than you expected, the chair cover is the one thing you will never regret as an addition to your wedding. The light it brings to your room is unbelievable and it would make your venue look so lavish it would end up looking like you spent a fortune decorating it. Above all, chair covers will help bring out the beauty of all the other decorations in the room which would never really have been noticed had the chair covers not been there. Think of the chair cover as one of thebiggets investments you'll ever make on a wedding or event, and would be happy to see in all the pictures taken, for years to come.
Photographers charge too much! Photographers equipment and development costs alone are huge. Then there are batteries, film, an assistant and the hours of work on and after the wedding. You can save money on enlargements and albums but don't penny pinch when it comes to the photographer. After your wedding day, the only things you have left are your pictures and your video. These are the only 2 services that last a lifetime and can be passed down to the next generation. Biggest tip - hire a photographer that gives you your negatives, that way you can make as many copies of pictures from your wedding day as you want without having to order them from your photographer. If you choose a photographer that does not give you your negatives, always find out how long they keep your negatives on file and if you can obtain them when they are ready to discard them. Most photographers in general don't keep negatives past a couple of years. If your photographer still won't give you the negatives after that point without charging you money, I would question the ethics of the vendor. $1000.00 for a photographer is a great price but if they charge $40.00 for an 8 X 10, where's the savings. Don't just look at the photo packages or wedding day shoot costs, ask how much their enlargements are. If a package includes a couple's album and 2 parent albums, ask how much that same package would cost without any albums. Sometimes it's worth the savings to buy your own albums elsewhere and sometimes it's better to take the albums offered by your photographer. Unless you're doing a formal shoot at the bride or groom's house, you don't need a photographer there. Your wedding party and family will have their cameras out anyway. A great idea and one that many are using now is, putting a disposable camera on every table at the reception. Then you'll only need to book your photographer for the church, photo location and maybe to take a few detailed shots at the reception venue. You don't need your photographer to stay until 1am. Once the bouquet and garter tosses have taken place, there are no more major events to shoot. Your 1st & last dances look the same on film.

Colours for Chair Covers
The most popular colour for chair covers isn't a colour at all but white. Historically the most popular choice for weddings white is also the most 'neutral' of colours and doesn't compete at all with the colour scheme chosen for the wedding or other event.
The trend is towards using neutral (and often white) chair covers and then decorating them with a wide variety of organza and other coloured sashes. For the chair cover rental company this allows them for stock a manageable range of typically white and ivory chair covers while offering a whole host of coloured sashes and accessories. For the bride or event co-ordinator this helps to keep costs down.
Another advantage of white (and to a lesser extent ivory) is that 'aggressive' techniques can be used in stain removal and the laundry process without impacting the dye of the fabric. Higher temperatures, stain removers, and optical brightening agents (such as found it 'whites' powders) can be used to restore and maintain the chair covers much more easily than with dyed fabrics.
Another very popular colour is black. Great for stylish charity balls, corporate events, awards ceremonies, parties, etc where a sophisticated or funky evening look is sought to distinguish the event from the 'wedding' look. While black chair covers require greater care in the laundry process than white they are obviously less prone to visible staining. The gretaest challenge in fact is to ensure complete separation from the laundry process of white cotton fabrics as even small amounts of residual white lint in tumble dryers etc can rapidly cause lint flecks to appear on white chair covers.
